Interlibrary loan is a service whereby users from one library may borrow material from another library via fax, surface mail or courier, for the purposes of research or private study, and not for commercial use. Geographic restriction may be specified in the license.

Printing and distribution: "Participating Institutions and their User(s) ... are permitted to print a reasonable number
of copies of limited portions of the Content solely for their own personal reference. Participating Institutions
and their User{s) are also permitted to print and distribute to other Users within the same institution, a
reasonable number of copies of items of Content for educational use."

Coursepacks and eReserves: "Each item shall carry appropriate acknowledgement of the source, listing title, and copyright owner."

Fair dealing: "Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Agreement, nothing shall in any way restrict or limit the ability of Participating Institutions or their Users to engage in or conduct any activity that is otherwise permitted under Canadian copyright laws, including without limitation pursuant to any fair dealing exceptions."
