Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a library service whereby users from one library may borrow material from another library for the purposes of research or private study, and not for commercial use. Geographic restrictions may be specified in the licence.

Notes
Course packs are only permitted in print form, copies in/made for course packs must be destroyed once the course is completed (section 5). Copies must include citation, “listing title and author of the extract, title and author of the work, and the Provider, and shall reproduce all notices of copyright applicable to the incorporated portions of the Licensed Materials” (section 5).

COPYRIGHT CLAUSE: "Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Agreement, nothing shall in any way restrict or limit the ability of Libraries or Authorized Users to engage in or conduct any activity that is otherwise permitted under Canadian copyright laws, including without limitation pursuant to any fair dealing exceptions, so long as such use is not commercial in nature nor does it take away from the market of the Licensed Materials in any way." (section 2.1)
